Hello All,
On Monday the 23rd August, 2010 is the Kårens dag where every organization in KTH will present themselves to the new arriving students. Gaytek will also have a table at the Nymble (the map is attached where we will be in Nymble) and we will represent ourselves to the new students and make our self visible. We need voluntaries to stand there for one slot of time and then they can go and more people can come to replace them. The event will begin at 10:00 in the morning and last at 17:00

Stockholm Pride 2010

Hej allihopa!
Nu är det sommar och snart dags för Stockholm Pride. KTH kommer ha ett tält i Pride Park och det är Gaytek som ordnar det. Om du skulle tycka att det vore roligt att hjälpa till vore det underbart! Pride park kommer i år att vara öppen 28:e till 31:a juli (onsdag-lördag vecka 30) och det kommer behövas folk som står i tältet, uppdelat på tre pass per dag. Parken är öppen mellan 14 och 01 onsdag och torsdag samt 14 till 02 fredag och lördag. Man får entrén betald om man jobbar flera pass under veckan, men hör absolut av dig om du bara kan en dag eller så också! Om du känner dig sugen på att hjälpa till med arbetet omkring, t.ex.transport, logistik, att montera och dekorera tältet eller hitta på roliga saker för folk att göra där så är det också väldigt uppskattat!

Hello everybody!
Summer is here and soon it is time for Stockholm Pride. KTH is going to have a tent in Pride Park and that is arranged by Gaytek. If you would like to help us that would be lovely! Pride Park is open the 28th to the 31st of July and it will be necessary to have people standing in the tent, one day is divided into three shifts. The park is open 14-01 Wednesday and Thursday, and 14-02 Friday and Saturday. If you take several shifts during the week your entrance will be paid, but you should definitely let us know if you would like to work just one day as well! If you feel that you would like to help with other things such as transport, logistics, assembling the tent and decorating it, as well as arranging fun activities for visitors, that would be very appreciated!

Beach Party

Hey everybody,
Gaytek is having a great beach party on the 9th of June!
It is going to be in Lappis Beach, just a few minutes away from ICA (See the map attached). There will be snacks and we will serve Cosmopolitan for free! ( Well, for those over 20 of course 
). All the members will also get free Gaytek badge. We are also planning for bonfire.
Since this will be the last party until next semester, we thought we would thank you guys for participating in our events by serving free cocktails.
Don’t miss this fabulous party with cosmo, friends and the great scenery!

BBQ at Roslagstullsbacken

Hej allihopa! Vilken vacker vår vi har! På fredag är det grillning med Gaytek på Roslagstullsbacken. Vi ses kl. 18.00 utanför Tekniska Högskolans tunnelbanestation, vid uppgång Körsbärsvägen (i tågets färdriktning om man åker mot Mörby Centrum). Ta med dig det du vill äta och dricka. Gaytek står för kakan och grillen!

Hello everybody! What a lovely spring! This Friday we are having a barbeque with Gaytek in Roslagstullsbacken. We will meet 18.00 outside the Tekniska Högskolan subway station, by the Körsbärsvägen entrance (in front of the train if you are travelling in the Mörby Centrum direction). Bring what you want to drink and eat. Gaytek will provide cake and grill!

Game Night
March 15th, 2010
Wednesday after this exhausting exam period we will meet, relax and play some board games together. We’ll meet in the Pub at Nymble on the 24th of Mars at 17.00. Everyone is welcome.
We have card games, Trivial Pursuit and Carcassonne, where you take on the roll as a feudal Lord in medieval France. And to geek it up some more we will invent, just for you, an all new, never seen before, Engineering Pictionary! (Hopefully, if all goes as planned)

Colour Party

Hello all,
It was time that we organize another Gaytek party!
The last party was amazing, so thank you all for coming and encouraging us to organize more events.
Our new party is called colour party. It’s in Roslagstullsbacken 5 on the 12th of March, Friday.
Basically, the colour of top that you wear will reflect what you’re looking for!
The colours are:
Green: Looking for a guy
Blue: Looking for a girl
Yellow: Looking for someone
Purpule: Mysterious
Black: Boring
Red: Occupied
Don’t forget that it’s a “bring your own booze” party
Ps: Please respect the colours above, otherwise our fashion police could arrest you! You have the right to remain silent though

February 17th, 2010As we are in the process of moving our Gaytek website (www.gaytek.se) form one server to another server and we are trying to improve our website by making it more user friendly, for example, conformation email is send if some one become member or contact us.
If any one is interested and want to contribute to Gaytek by helping us in designing website then contact us. The website is already in good working condition, all we have to add some new features to it. The person will get free cinema ticket form Gaytek.
